Morning! One of my favourite things about coming to the end of another year is the new trend bridal gowns we’ll to be treated to as the new year begins. Today we’re sharing four fabulous bridal looks that are incoming at Indie Grace Bridal in Fintona, just outside Omagh, County Tyrone.
Owner, Siobhan has curated a stunning collection that features exclusive designers from across the world including Australia and France. With romantic, bohemian, glamorous and contemporary styling, modern brides will really love her selection. I had the pleasure of viewing Siobhan’s gowns earlier this year at Love at the Linen Green and I quickly fell in love with each gown she has chosen! Oh to be a bride in need of a wedding gown…
Trend: Bateau neckline, long sleeves, romantic tulle, minimalism, two-piece, square back
This dress ticks all the right boxes when it comes to being bang on trend in 2019. Meghan Markle off course stepped out in long sleeves and a bateau neckline so its no surprise that those are two key trends for 2019 brides. We put our order in for this beauty in April though so we like to think we are ahead of the trend lol!
Produced by Spanish designer Jesus Peiro this dress hits many top trends for 2019. It is a two-piece; the structured, minimalist crepe bodice boasts a bateau neckline, square back and long silk sleeves finished with a crepe cuff. The skirt is a dreamy romantic tulle finished off with a chic grosgrain bow.
Trend: Bustle/detachable train – extra layers of fabric draped on the lower back of a dress
Brides that want to crank up the drama will love this trend! I am also finding that while there are brides that really want a large train they don’t necessarily want the trouble of it later on in the evening so this trend is a win win for those brides!
This dress is from Australian designer Marquise Bridal for which we are Northern Ireland’s exclusive stockist. The dress without the train is made with the most exquisite lace and while it can be made in Ivory the image here of the dress we have in the boutique is a beautiful subtle soft blush. The plunging neckline and plunging back with square cut coupled with that fitted silhouette is perfection for when you cast off the over skirt in the evening.
The detachable over skirt we have in store is a dramatic but soft, romantic tulle finish however a lace over skirt is also available (pictured).
Trend: A touch of colour, delicate embroidery, layering
I am seeing lots of hints of colour in our collections for 2019. Still very bridal but just enough colour to add some warmth and depth and its a big hit already with our stylish brides. The focus is also very much on the little details be that embellishment or embroidery for 2019. The dress pictured is by Polish designer Anna Kara for which we are Northern Ireland’s exclusive stockist. Lots of layering and a subtle nude tone create a beautifully soft romantic thing of true beauty and its crowning glory lies in the original hand sewn embroidery.
Trend: Sultry silhouettes, Plunging necklines, embellishment, skirt slits
Another key trend for 2019 has to be that sultry silhouette with plunging neckline and skirt split often coupled with luxurious textiles and beading. Designed by Australian designer Marquise Bridal. This dress oozes luxury, perfect for the modern bride.
