Alpaca bridal shoot

It’s no secret that here at The Promise we love to think outside the box when it comes to wedding inspiration and today is no different as we share a delightful bridal photo shoot created by a very talented bunch!

We’ve all heard of including your dog in your big day photos, maybe even arriving by horsepower but we’re going one huge step cuter and sharing the alpaca love. Carrying on from what can only be described as an animal loving week here at The Promise – did you see our farm real wedding on Monday? – we have the prettiest bohemian bridal inspiration shoot featuring these charming animals.

Captured by Erica Irvine Photography, the shoot was inspired by Claire and Chris Martin’s adorable herd of alpacas on their small holding in Omagh. Makeup artist, Stacey Kilpatrick from S.A.K.Designs was keen to include the friendly creatures in her latest creative shoot and after lots of brainstorming the shoot came to life. Styling was by This Old Home, the breathtaking gowns were sourced from The White Gallery, laid-back hair creations by The Hair Lounge and florals, including an alpaca wreath, were designed by Vintage Violet Floral Boutique.

Thanks to Claire and Chris for having us, all the creative local wedding suppliers involved and the stars, Aphro and Titania.

Behind the scenes

Because we had a lot of fun and laughs and we all learnt that alpacas hum to each other and it is the sweetest noise in the world. Whoever said to never work with animals was wrong!
